David Beckham attends LFW Fall 2013 Party

David and Victoria Beckham attended the The Global Fund and British Fashion Council dinner party held during London Fashion Week Fall 2013.  The event was held at the Apsley House and hosted by US Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. The couple looked very chic and classy in their matching his 'n' hers suits. She's wearing her own label and he's in a Burberry two piece black smart suit with a crisp white shirt. The couple have come a long way since their now infamous "matching leather" episode.

The event was also attended by fellow British icons Sienna Miller, Colin Firth and Stella McCartney.

David Beckham in Aurel Schmidt for Opening Ceremony

How do you wear a t-shirt like David Beckham? With a paid of Dior Homme Distressed Corduroy jeans. In the first picture, he paired his Aurel Schmidt with a beanie from Burton and in the second picture with a DQM Trucker hat while carrying a backpack from Burberry.

 

If you ever want to look stylish in a t-shirt, make sure the t-shirt has some history to it. Aurel Schmidt is an artist that makes detailed drawings of surreal figures by combining  tiny illustrations of flies, insects, condoms, cigarette butts and other detritus to create the larger image. Her collaboration with Opening Ceremony was all about a collection of lettered graphics, culminating in an 11-shirt release (one for each letter of Opening Ceremony). Each shirt references many everyday elements from donuts and toothpaste to bacon, lighters and cigarette butts. The graphics are printed on custom vintage t-shirts with distressed qualities. H&M x David Beckham Bodywear Paris Launch

 

After winning the league title with Paris Saint-Germain and retiring from football, David Beckham went straight to work promoting his bodywear line with H&M. While in Paris, he held a meet and greet event to launch his H&M Bodywear Collection. Lucky fans got the chance to not only meet David, but also received autographed goods.

To commorate this event, David wore a Breitling Transocean Chronograph Red Gold Limited Edition Watch along with a H&M x David Beckham Spring 2013 red Henley shirt, and a pair of matching red Adidas sneakers (not pictured).

 

In July of 2011 David Beckham and H&M announced their collaboration for David’s bodywear line, which features t-shirts, vests, Henleys, pajamas and long johns. Due to Beckham’s success with his menswear line, H&M and Beckham will be releasing a bodywear line for children. Rumor has it, that they have purchased a 30 second commercial spot at this year's Super Bowl, in which viewers will be able to purchase the range directly from their TVs.

Personally, I love his line as it is extremely comfortable and the fit is amazing.

David Beckham in Ralph Lauren Black Label Suit

David Beckham in Ralph Lauren. David Beckham was on The Jonathan Ross Show in December discussing life after retiring from playing professional football. Of many things, he talks about how he had to referee his son Romeo's football match, which led to Romeo in tears because his father gave him a penalty. You can catch the entire interview on YouTube.

If you do decide to buy this very slim fitting smart suit which is a two-button front and a double vented back, I would recommend going one size higher than what you normally wear. For instance, if you normally wear a 38, buy a 40 as Black Label suits are tailored to have a European cut and thus has a very slim fit, especially post 2012.

David and Victoria Beckham was spotted shopping in NYC in the SoHo district in June of 2013. Here you can see David's shopping outfit, beanie by Commando, T-Shirt & Jeans by RRL, sweatshirt by Soulland "Babar the Elephant".

I have to credit this guy for making the beanie an essential accessory item for guys!

 

 

 

David Beckham in Saint Laurent Denim & Boots

David Beckham pictured here at his book signing event held at the Piccadilly branch of Waterstones in West London on December 19th 2013. He attended the event in a pair of Saint Laurent 16CM Skinny Dirty Used Wash Black Jeans with Saint Laurent Suede Chelsea Boots in chocolate. It seems as though he's wearing a lot of Saint Laurent at the moment, probably due to the fashion house bringing Hedi Slimane back.

A Little Bit About Hedi Slimane

Hedi Slimane started his fashion career at YSL in the early 1990s. After the Black Tie collection, which foreshadowed the advent of Slimane's silhouette, and the debuts of "skinny", he chose to leave YSL and accepted the position of creative director for menswear at Christian Dior where he stayed till 2007. After taking a few years off, he came back to Saint Laurent as creative director in 2011.

David Beckham was seen out and about in London attending the Treats! magazine London launch party at the Latin night club Chakana. He attended this event with friends Gordon Ramsay, Guy Ritchie and Noel Gallagher.

He is pictured here leaving the event in a marine blue wool long Officier Peacoat from Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane and a herringbone tweed cap by Lock & Hatters. The exact newsboy cap he's wearing is the Muirield.
