David Beckham travels with Prada Backpack

Since Beckham was first pictured arriving in Brazil to shoot "Into the Unknown". I have gotten many emails about the his backpack. For the longest time, I couldn't figure it out. From every picture taken, there wasn't any logos or any prominent markings that could be used to identify this backpack... until one of my followers Juuso Kalliomäki, accidentally found it. So after great research and patience... PRADA V136, it comes in Black and Olive Green (the Olive Green is a limited edition color). If your interested in purchasing one, it sells for about $1100, however Prada only sells the Black one online.

David Beckham has a new favorite flat cap. He was pictured arriving in Miami (above) and walking in London (below) wearing the Indie flat cap. Flat caps have been a staple in Beckham's wardrobe for quite some time now and I love the way he pulls it off with a t-shirt (by RRL if your interested) or a sweatshirt (by Saint Laurent). David Beckham wears Saint Laurent to Victoria's London Birthday Party

 

Pictured here David and Victoria leaving the swanky Arts Club in London for Victoria's 40th birthday party. The party itself had a guest list of famous British celebrities, such as the Spice Girls.

 

David attended the exclusive birthday party in Saint Laurent Classic Short Sleeve Pocket T Shirt in Black Silk Jersey and a pair of original low waisted Skinny Jean in Black Leather. Both items are from the permanent collection! I think the fedora is also by Saint Laurent but am unable to find it. However, I love David's fashion forward sense... who else would have thought about pairing a brown fedora with an all black?!?

David and Victoria Beckham attended the "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" Custume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City today. The lovely couple attend the gala in a well coordinated effort. He wore a white shawl-collar tuxedo jacket by Ralph Lauren and she wore a stunning gown from her own collection. Both looked amazing holding hands and taking pictures on the red carpet.

David Beckham has left Los Angeles and  headed to China to promote Jaguar, for which he is a brand ambassador for in China. While he was there, he attended the China Music Awards at the Venetian Macau Casino in a Ralph Lauren Black Label three piece suit. I believe this is the Austin Three-Piece Suit which can be purchased for a mere $2295.00! If you look at the pictures, David is wearing a Ralph Lauren suit that has a ticket pocket (the small pocket above the larger pocket on the blazer). The pocket originated many years ago from British equestrian tradition and was added to suit jackets so riders would not have to unbutton to access money for tolls. Today this extra pocket is more of a trend than actual use; it's a small detail that adds a bit of style to your suit.

While in LA, David Beckham has been seen working out at SoulCycle every morning. In the pictures taken here of him leaving the Brentwood location, you can see him matching his beanie with his shoes. Whether he's jet setting off to Brazil to film a documentary on the Amazon for BBC, or simply out in London with his wife or he's in Miami giving a press conference on his MLS expansion team... he is in love with his new Belstaff jacket and to be honest I don't blame him. Two years ago (Feb 2012) David Beckham launched his Bodywear Collection at the H&M on Regent Street in London. For the event, David stepped out in RRL... literally he stepped out in RRL! While the shawl cardigan he is wearing is by RRL, so are his boots. He has been pictured wearing the Ralph Lauren RRL Dark Cherry Leather Bowery Boots on many occasions, but never to such a high profile event.

Since I havent seen any new pictures of David Beckham since his Brazil trip, I decided to post an old picture of him walking thru LAX Airport. In this picture from 2009 David is wearing a denim shirt from the Dolce & Gabbana Gold Line. This shirt is impossible to find and is by far one of the nicest denim shirt I have ever come across.

David Beckham wears David Lindwall. Reborn. 1982

David Lindwall, the original face of Dior Homme and a DJ for the London based "Stunners International" created his own fashion label. His t-shirt explores such themes as Brooding, Mortality and Darkness. Each t-shirt is titled, featuring  a central black and white image above either a black or white background. As we all know Beckham loves all things vintage and his choice in David Lindwall t-shirts isn't any different.

David Beckham Flys to Rio de Janeiro in Belstaff

 

David Beckham is keeping himself busy! This past week he has flown to Rio de Janeiro wearing a Belstaff leather jacket to film a commercial... quite possibly for Belstaff?!? Now, I wasn't able to find the exact jacket he is wearing in the pictures, but I think it's from an old collection or a new collection that hasn't been released yet. However, the closest biker jacket that Bellstaff has out right now is the Weybridge Jacket. The only difference is, the one Beckham is wearing has quilted patches and the one on the site has horizontal lines. Once I find the jacket, I will let everyone know!

 



He is pictured on location wearing the same Belstaff leather jacket and riding a Triumph motorcycle... could this be commercial be for Triumph!?!

David & Victoria Beckam were seen leaving Paris after spending a few days for PFW 2014! David has been pictured recently wearing a lot of Saint Laurent and has added another piece from their 2014 collection, the Signature Pleated Stole in Red and Black Babycat Printed Cashmere and Silk Étamine.

Wear it like Beckham: On my recent trip to England, I debated weather to buy this piece, but didn't as I felt it was a bit too feminine! After seeing David rock it, I wish I had picked it up. Fashion Forward! Wear a scarf as a double loop around your neck, look cool and masculine even if the scarf looks feminine. On another note, I love how David and Victoria always compliment each other in their fashion sense...

David Beckham arrived in Paris taking the Eurostar this past Friday to join wife Victoria for their Parisian stint of PFW! Nothing says I'm ready to hit the City of Lights in style than stepping out at the Gare du Nord train station wearing a Saint Laurent Classic Chesterfield Coat in Black Wool CRÊPE and a pair of Saint Laurent Classic Wyatt Chelsea Boots in Ochre Suede while carrying his trusted Louis Vuitton Keepall Bandouliere. (As previously blogged, he's wearing Saint Laurent denim and his favorite RRL faded black t-shirt).

David Beckham while on his mission to the Philiphines to raise awareness for the victims of Typhoon Haiyanwas pictured playing football with little kids. Even in a Burton hat, UNICEF T-shirt and a pair of RRL Cords the kids of Tacloban were ready to take on the former Manchester United star at the game he's been playing since he himself was a child.

I wonder if David will be giving these kids soccer tips!

Two Ways To Wear Moncler

 

David Beckham was spotted walking in his upscale new London neighborhood of West London after moving from Los Angeles last year. In the picture above he is seen wearing the blue Moncler Baumier jacket, over a grey Moncler Gerard vest and Lanvin chinos in navy blue. He finished the look with the Adidas Originals Basket Profi sneakers and his trademark beanie.

 

A few days later, he was spotted looking like the Dapper British Gentleman that he is, wearing the same Moncler Baumier jacket under a Pale Gun Metal Blue velvet blazer by Burberry and Lanvin chinos in mustard. For this look, he put away his beanie opting for a flat cap instead!

David loves doing charity work around the world! As a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, David made a trip to the visit the victims of super Typhoon Haiyan, which struck on November 8, killing more than 6,200 people and leaving tens of thousands of survivors still homeless. David made the trip in his favorite RRL t-shirt, Saint Laurent denim and Burton Tinder Pack. Once he arrived, he changed his RRL t-shirt for a UNICEF t-shirt, while he spent the days meeting and greeting the people of Tacloban.

 



David has been seen traveling with the Burton Tinder Pack before, as the pack has a vintage feel to it and David loves all things vintage!

 

David attend's Victoria's NYFW Show in a Spezzato Look

David attends his wife's Victoria's NYFW show with Harper as his lovely date. Mrs. Beckham always ensures that both husband and daughter gets front row seats to her sold out show, they always head to the very chic eatery Balthazar afterwards and David's always in a spezzato look. What's a spezzato look?  This is a very popular look among Italians and is Italian for "broken in two." Quite simply, it describes a combination of jacket and trousers that's not a matching suit. This year David completed his spezzato look in a Ralph Lauren Black Label navy blazer with a pair of Purple Label grey trousers by the same designer.

David Beckham walks around NYC in Canada Goose Foxe Bomber Jacket

MBFW 2014 is in full swing!!! and Victoria has closed yet another successful show giving David and the kids some down time to take in some of New York's finest landmarks. The Official Instagram Page for The Empire State Building posted a picture of him wearing a Canada Goose Foxe Bomber jacket. Although, the jacket comes in a variety of colours, David has only been pictured wearing it in military green. It seems as though military green is David's favorite colour and the "in" colour among designers for their spring collection.

David Beckham was awarded the role as China's first global football ambassador for its football league. He has happily taken the position, as he wants to improve the game's image in China and around the world. As part of his role, we will see him observe games and attend charitable events. One of the first charitable event that he attended, was a visit to a children's hospital in China to uplift the spirits of the children being treated there. For this event, David decided to put away his vast collection of smart suits and go to the event wearing a casual plaid shirt by Comme des Garçons from their Homme Plus line.

Comme des Garcon is French for "like the boys" and is a Japanese fashion label headed by Rei Kawakubo. If you would like to buy anything from this label, then good luck! They only have one store in the US (NYC), 2 stores in Europe (one in Paris and one in London) and a few stores in East Asia (Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok, Seoul, Singapore and Manila). On a recent visit to Paris, it took me 2 days to actually find the Paris store, as it turned out I walked by the store a few times before I actually figured out which door was the entrance.
