David Beckham in Maison Martin Margiela (Miami)

What does a famous footballer wear, while his out in Miami scouting locations for a football specific stadium for his new MLS team? Maison Martin Margiela sweatshirt over a RRL black t-shirt, while trading in his staple beanie or newsboy cap for a Burton Rufio hat paired with a pair of Saint Laurent Raw denim by Hedi Slimane.

If you haven't heard David Beckham is in negotiations to start his own MLS franchise, rumored to be in Miami, where he has been seen scouting locations for a potential football specific stadium and meeting with local politicians and business leaders. It was recently announced by MLS President Don Garber, that they would make an "announcement" in February.

Now back to fashion. If you would like to purchase any of the things he's wearing in this picture, I have some bad news... you won't be able to. The Burton Rufio Hat in Keef has been sold out everywhere, since he's been pictured in it. The Maison Martin Margiela Elbow Patch Loopback Cotton-Jersey Sweatshirt is from last season and is also unavailable in the "olive green" colour, but you can get it in Red, Black, or Grey by clicking here on sale at Mr. Porter for $247.50. As for as the Saint Laurent denim, that is also from last season and very hard to find, however there is a similar one available from their permanent collection on the YSL website.

David Beckham in Saint Laurent Denim & Boots

David Beckham pictured here at his book signing event held at the Piccadilly branch of Waterstones in West London on December 19th 2013. He attended the event in a pair of Saint Laurent 16CM Skinny Dirty Used Wash Black Jeans with Saint Laurent Suede Chelsea Boots in chocolate. It seems as though he's wearing a lot of Saint Laurent at the moment, probably due to the fashion house bringing Hedi Slimane back.

A Little Bit About Hedi Slimane

Hedi Slimane started his fashion career at YSL in the early 1990s. After the Black Tie collection, which foreshadowed the advent of Slimane's silhouette, and the debuts of "skinny", he chose to leave YSL and accepted the position of creative director for menswear at Christian Dior where he stayed till 2007. After taking a few years off, he came back to Saint Laurent as creative director in 2011.
