Let's Party Before we Fly Back to London

David Beckham headed back to London over the weekend, but before he got back he made sure he got some riding and partying in. Pictured above riding his vintage motorcycle around LA, David took on the biker look wearing a pair of RRL pants with the legs rolled up. He teamed that with a denim jacket by Saint Laurent and a denim vest by Acne Studios. To complete the look, David pulled out his Red Wings 877 and his favorite snapback at the moment Ginza, placed perfectly on his side as he rides. The military style hat hes wearing is by Burton. Oddly everything he wore while riding is from previous collections and not sold anymore!

After spending the afternoon riding David stepped out to West Hollywood bar The Friend with British model Poppy Delevingne. Pictured above leaving the bar, David wore something from his closet that I don't think he as ever worn... a jacket by PRPS (Harare Jacket). PRPS is a NY based fashion label that David would wear some 10 years ago, needless to say this jacket is not going to be easy to find.

After all that partying, David got on a flight the next day to London. The stylish father of 4 looked as cool as ever going super casual on his long haul flight. Pictured above in a pair of Adidas Harden Vol 1 MVP Sweatpants, a black tee from the same Adidas collaboration with James Harden, a fresh pair of Adidas PureBOOST Running shoes and a backpack by Adidas collaboration with Kanye West in the color Purple (yes it looks brown, but the official colorway is purple). It seems the only outfit that is still possible to get is his LAX outfit on the way into LA and on the way out...for the rest of his LA 2017 look part 1... happy hunting!

David Beckham the Biker....

David Beckham is spending his summer in Los Angeles (unfortunately I missed him by a few days while I was out there) and has perfected the "biker look". Pictured above David was pictured cruising in his custom built  vintage bike wearing a tee from RRL, a denim vest from Acne Studios and kicks by Converse. Of course when your David Beckham, you must have a cool wallet chain! The one that he is using in these pictures are by Hoorsenbuhs.

In this set of pictures, David is rocking the same vest with a white tee from RRL and a pair of VANS.

It looks like David is enjoying his time in LA.... more updates to come!

David Beckham, Oki-Ni x Adidas, RRL, Acne Studios

I often get asked why I follow David's style... well the simple answer is I spotted the above picture in 2012 and was quite blown away by his effortless ability to throw an outfit together. This then inspired me to collect images and analyze his style in greater detail, which eventually became #wearitlikeBeckham.

This now infamous picture taken at the Y-3 10th Anniversary Collection at NYFW in 2012 is what put me on a mission to find the T-shirt (RRL Faded Black Canvas), jeans (Acne Studios Max Man Ray) and shoes (Oki-Ni adidas Tennis Hi). It took me ages to find each of the items, but eventually I did through the help of some of my followers.

The outfit was so simple and just perfectly cool... I just had to have it and hence started my passion.

About Oki-Ni x Adidas Tennis Hi
Oki-Ni and Adidas have recreated the Tennis Hi, circa 1974. This version was produced in dual layers of nylon webbing over a lemon peel weave and has full-grain leather overlays in optical white. Only 300 pairs were ever made and sadly I don't have a pair!!

About Acne Studios Max Man Ray
Acne changes the wash from season to season, so if you want the exact wash you'll have to go back to the F/W 2012.

David Beckham in LA Biker Outfit

David Beckham was pictured enjoying a sunny day in Venice, CA riding his bike. His biker outfit of choice seems to be a pair of Saint Laurent Distressed Skinny Jeans ($495) and the Jam Vest by Acne Studios. The vest is from an older collection and not being sold anymore. However, if you do manage to find this vest, then I would suggest getting one that is one size up from your normal size. For example, if you wear a size 50 in Saint Laurent, then I would get a size 52. The vest is extremely slim cut!

He was also pictured wearing the same Jam Vest while leaving the tattoo parlor in West Hollywood, right before his motorcycle accident.
